e Methylparabens and Propylparabens – Used as preservatives. Parabens are currently under scrutiny as they have been identified as estrogenic and disruptive of normal hormone functions; many studies are linking them with breast cancer tumors.

e Polyethylene Glycol/PEG – Used as a thickener. Strips the skin’s natural moisture.
